We stayed here for 4 nights earlier this month. The setting was absolutely gorgeous. Our cabin was comfortable for our family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 kids, ranging in age from 2-14. We found everything in the cabin to be neat and clean. We loved having the Mini Golf/activity area right outside our door. We spent our evenings hanging around outside and playing with the soccer and footballs provided by the owners. Honestly, I don't think our experience could have been any better!
On top of all this, there is a very well priced ice cream and snack shop for a quick treat. This place is amazing and if I'm in the area again, I'll be here!
Only $8 and the kids can enter Fun Land for your entire stay. Fun Land includes a 9 hole mini-golf course, zip line, basketball, foosball, and lots of yard games. Well worth the money.
Very small but nice and cozy. Two very nice TV's and the outdoor play area/mini golf course is very nice. Creek is so pretty and the two fire pits are very well made. Also a very nice small basketball/volleyball court out in the more grassy area on the other side of the whole resort showing a great view of a rural grassland on some hills. This would be a five star review if the cabins weren't so small.
Family of 6 enjoyed a three-night stay! The kids had a blast. We would definitely consider going back. This resort is very close to a busy highway so you will hear traffic (unless you run the AC...which I recommend). The second queen-sized bedroom did not have its own AC and it can get pretty warm. The kids really loved sleeping in the loft. It was great having the Fun Zone right there for the kids too. The upkeep on the Fun Zone isn't the best but the kids still thought it was fun. We did have to pay $8/person (was not included), but that gave us access for the whole stay so it was worth it. We also appreciated having the Dairy Twist close by when we didn't have the energy to load up the kids and drive into town. I recommend the Coffee Cabin right around the bend for an early morning brew! Easy access to all of the Black Hills major attractions. Creekside was a great place to crash after a long day of sight seeing!
Great place to stay with an amazing view. You won't have to drive for more than an hour in any direction to see a notable attraction. Well kept cabins with plenty of yard space and community fire pits.
Stayed here last summer with my extended family. The owners were remarkably hospitable and despite a mix up with booking got us completely taken care of. Great value. The kids playground is great, the put-put is fun and free for quests and the little Ice-cream/burger hut nearby hits the spot perfectly after a long day of sight-seeing (which is also super convenient because of how centrally located this place is).
