We loved our stay! They have an awesome indoor pool & hot tub, clean rooms, a place to do laundry, an awesome breakfast buffet, & a small little clothing boutique, if we ever go back to South Dakota & need a place to stay it'll be here. House keeping is very nice also.
The staff at this hotel was courteous and professional. The room was roomy and comfortable. The continental breakfast was very well supplied and a good variety of items. The dinner menu could have more variety for that is my reason for giving 4 stars,my family and I left before ordering because we didn't see anything we wanted. The price for the room was a little higher than some of the other places in town but I was more familiar with best western brand.. Curtis G.
Great hotel, nice location in the black hills of SD. Staff is friendly, restaurant is great but closes at 8:30 PM, Pizza and ice cream until 10 PM. While at first I thought 8:30 PM was early, it appears most of Hill City stores seem to close at 9 PM! So plan your meals early with family when you arrive! The rooms are nice, spacious, and clean. Very family orientated. The indoor and outdoor pools are nice and clean. Many other hotels around, but this hotel will give you more a western feel and atmosphere of being in the Black Hills than the other name brands available.
We chose this Best Western because it's in the heart of the Black Hills and is close to most of the attractions in the area. Upon arrival, we were given a complimentary upgrade for being Reward Members. The suite was clean, spacious, and the beds were comfortable. We spent three nights. the Continental Breakfast area was a bit crowded at times, but there was plenty of seating available. The only issue was the slow internet. But being surrounded by hills that was expected. All in all, we had a great stay and highly recommend it!
We would stay there again without hesitation. They know what customer service is all about!
Every aspect of this establishment was exceptional. The staff in all areas were friendly, courteous, professional and fun! The restaurant food was awesome! The rooms were very comfortable and clean. They treated my pet very well and had a pet walk where he could do his business and provided "poop" bags!
