The people that work in the office were some of the friendliest people in this state. The cabins were clean and are close to Main Street allowing you to walk to many of the small shops. My only suggestion to improve the cabin would be to upgrade the ac units.
Very nice place to stay, in the heart of the black hills. Super great owners, will help anyway they can to make it a great stay.
We (2 adults) stayed here for one night on our way to Yellowstone and it was a lovely place to stay. The owner had wonderful recommendations for local eating establishments (Bumpin' Buffalo Bar & Grill and the Hill City Cafe). We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after a day of driving. The beds were a little hard and might need some updating soon. Other than that, definitely would recommend this place!
Great place to stay if you are riding the trail. Bike friendly and convenient location. Doug and Mary and very accommodating. Beats motel option by a mile.
The best place to stay! My family has stayed here the last 3 summers. Doug and Mary make us feel like family. They are always making improvements and updating the property. They come and check on you and they join you at the end of the day on the patio or around the fire pit. You also get to know the other guests too. At night, it's quiet and peaceful. Nature comes to the backdoor.
