This place was beautiful. The BIGGEST down side is that it was extremely hot the week we were there. We rented both top & bottom of the cabin. The owners did nothing to make our stay more enjoyable. The cabins were extremely hot since the air conditioner froze up. We had children that need a break from the extreme heat & the maid was the only one who brought us a few fans, which didnt help. We paid ALOT of $$$ to stay in an air conditioned cabin & owners didnt care!! No discount & No working air conditioner. Would NOT recommend to anyone to stay there. Also notice the ripped out the pages out of the book they had there where others commented on their stay. Lame!!!!
There was no fireplace like advertised, but wasn't winter yet so no problem. There was a hot tub but wouldn't get over 100F (according to guestbook we weren't the only ones didn't think it was hot enough). Dead bugs everywhere, no one showed up to clean until 3-4 pm, took an hour and still dead bugs everywhere...There's a $100 cleaning fee but I asked since it was only one night if it could be lower, and she did lower it to $85. There were mouse droppings in an (empty) drawer. There were some plates, pans, utensils, coffee, etc. The sunny cabin has an occupied downstairs, and rented loft above the garage, which I wasn't expecting. Picked it as it was away from the "group" of cabins. Over all I liked it.
