4 adults & our grandson stayed at the Tin Mill Cottage for 3 nights the last week of July. It was a super comfy house which felt homey as soon as we walked in. It served as a great base for our day trips in the area. From the time we made the reservation to the time we checked out was a great experience. Marcia & Jennifer were wonderful & very prompt in replying to any questions we had. Short walk to the train station & town. Lots of birds & saw one deer. When we go back to the area, we will surely rent from these folks again! The cost was better than a hotel! Highly recommend Heart of the Hills!
We rented 2 cabins from the Heart of the Hills Vacation Homes and loved everything about it. They were quick to answer email questions and were very friendly and helpful when I called with questions. We rented the Aspen and Ponderosa for 21 people and it worked GREAT for our family! They were a ways out on a gravel road but we knew that ahead of time and that is exactly what we were looking for. The cabin itself was in great shape and very clean and came with everything stated.
So I was driving through hill city tonight. Needing fuel we pulled up to the pumps.. As were at the pump. Waiting for the cashier to authorize the pump. We notice the cashier locking the front doors .. Two minutes before the top of the hour... Good thing its not -20c outside... I'm just saying.... How would you feel if you were the motorist.? Really there is no other station for at least 13 miles. No not every one has a credit card... I hope this doesn't happen to any one els...
My wife and I stayed at the Marshall Gulch Getaway. It was everything we wanted and more! I would recommend this to anyone.

I have stayed at marsh gulch and old town cottage and I have dealt with them for years they are the best and great cabins.I will not stay anywhere else.
